If you are looking for an unusual degree to start after your A levels and love technology – then a degree in Flying Car Engineering is for you!
BBC News have reported that this online ‘nanodegree’ is a degree that you will earn in around 6 – 12 months, learning all the basic programming skills you need to help you get started in the industry. This is all completed online and costs £850.
Former Stanford University Professor Sebastian Thrun has introduced this nanodegree through e – learning school Udacity in February. Professor Thrun has a technological background as he was part of Google’s self driving car project, and is hoping to attract at least 10,000 applicants.
The Professor also has one of Google’s co – founders as one of his investors in his corporation Kitty Hawk, where he wants to make personal flight something of the future.
In years to come, you may find yourself looking at job adverts looking for Flying Car Engineers!
