At CASCAID, our mission is to help anyone, anywhere in the world, create a successful future through self-knowledge, exploration and planning.
Experiences gained early in a young person’s exposure to work are incredibly important in shaping their future skills.
A strong careers provision including good quality careers education and guidance is vital in helping young people to find the right path for them and prepare them for their future – future readiness.
‘We want to create a stronger, fairer society in which people from all backgrounds can realise their potential.’
‘Our careers provision must be world class to help people understand the range of opportunities available to them in today’s economy and acquire the skills and qualifications they need to succeed in the workplaces of the future.’
The Rt Hon Anne Milton MP, Minister of State for Apprenticeships and Skills and Minister for Women
The National Careers Week (NCW) is founded and backed by volunteers with a wealth of experience from education, business and careers guidance and empowers schools, colleges, universities, teachers and careers professionals to celebrate quality CEIAG for at least one week every year.
By promoting the importance of good careers education in schools and colleges, NCW is the perfect platform for advising and inspiring the next generation as they enter the world of work.
This year, NCW are very excited to announce an innovative, experienced team embarking on a new strategy to…
‘Make every week a career week.’
The National Careers Week takes place between the 5th – 10th March 2018.
